Statamic: An asset container has not been configured

Published at Oct 30, 2023

If like me you encountered this error when trying to update your profile informations in the dashboard without touching anything else. I have the solution for you!

It happens after adding another asset container on your project. The default blueprint of your user do not know wich asset container should be used for the avatar.

Go to resources/blueprints/user.yaml and configure the default container that should be used for users avatar:

Copied!
24
25 handleavatar
26 field:
27 typeassets
28 container: assets
29 max_files1

Funny thing is, I did this to choose an avatar. Fixed this error, and never changer my avatar 
